The Center focuses on the creative use of computers in clinical medicine,
molecular biology, neuroscience, and other areas of biomedical research.
We conduct research, provide support and coordinate collaborative projects involving Medical
School faculty, Yale-New Haven Hospital, and faculty in other departments
at Yale, such as Computer
Science.
The Center also serves as a focal point for training in biomedical informatics
with a Postdoctoral Fellowship Program and the affiliated Informatics Fellowship Program
at the West Haven VA. In addition, we participate actively
in Yale's interdepartmental PhD program in
Computational Biology and Bioinformatics.
