Buffalo creates UAPE chapter

BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Ukrainian American Professional Educators of Greater Buffalo formed a local chapter of the Ukrainian American Professional Educators Association (UAPE).

Currently the Buffalo Chapter has 15 registered members with an executive board of officers as follows: Zenon Deputat, president; Mary Ann Harasymowycz, president elect; Akacia Belmega, secretary and Roxolana Pikas, treasurer.

The chapter has adopted the goals of the central organization and is now in the process of creating its own by-laws as well as mapping out an agenda of activities for the year.
