Booklet covers CBS "scourging"

CHICAGO - The Ukrainian American Justice Committee has published "Scourging of a Nation: CBS and the Defamation of Ukraine," a 40-page indictment of the October 23 "60 Minutes" broadcast titled "The Ugly Face of Freedom."

Some 200 copies of the publication have already been sent to libraries all over the world.

"Our purpose," explained Walter Tun, UAJC executive director, "is to respond to CBS and to make sure the Ukrainian story is being told accurately. Libraries are repositories of information and thus far, its seems, information about Ukraine has been sparse."

Copies of the publication are available for a $6 donation (includes $1 postage) to the Ukrainian American Justice Committee. Since the UAJC is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) public information organization, all deductions are income-tax-deductible. For a $12 donation, the donor will receive a copy and another copy will be sent to a library of the donor's choice.
