Ukrainian community participates in international festival in Pennsy

LANSDALE, Pa. - Vera Andryczyk (left) and Marijka Cyhan prepared and staffed an informative display about Ukraine for the sixth annual International Spring Festival on May 10, organized by the International Club of the Lansdale Public Library, the North Penn Chamber of Commerce and the North Penn School District of Lansdale, Pa. Both Ms. Andryczyk and Ms. Cyhan are members of the Ukrainian Federation of Greater Philadelphia and Ms. Andryczyk represented the federation on the festival steering committee. Of the countries represented, including Poland, Ireland, Russia, Egypt, Jordan, Pakistan, India, China, Japan and Mexico, the display of Ukraine's diverse cultural crafts and artifacts was among the most popular.
