- NEW YORK: The Shevchenko Scientific Society sponsors a lecture by Dr.
Larissa Onyshkevych, who will speak on the topic of her recent book, "The
Twins Shall Meet Again: An Anthology of Ukrainian Drama from the Diaspora"
(in Ukrainian). The lecture will be held at the society's building, 63
Fourth Ave., at 5 p.m.

- NEW YORK: The Ukrainian Institute of America presents the Gruppman
Duo with Mykola Suk, pianist, as part of the Music at the Institute series.
The performance will include selections from Martinu, Mozart, Ysaye, Runchak,
Bruch and Moszkowski and will begin at 8 p.m. at the institute, 2 E. 79th

hosts Volodymyr Chumachenko, a young, dynamic lecturer of Ukrainian history
at Odesa State University. The meeting will be held at 1 p.m. at the Ss.
Volodymyr and Olha Ukrainian Cultural Center, 2247 W. Chicago Ave. Coffee

- CAMBRIDGE, Mass.: The Harvard Ukrainian Research Institute continues
its seminar series with a lecture by Moshe Taube, associate professor of
linguistics and Slavic studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Prof.
Taube's topic is "Ruthenian Translations from Hebrew in the 15th Century:
Why and for Whom?" The lecture will be held in the HURI seminar room
