Panel at UCCA's upcoming congress to focus on youth/student involvement
NEW YORK - The Ukrainian Congress Committee of America XVIII Congress of Ukrainians in America on Saturday, October 14, will host a special roundtable discussion dedicated to reactivating student and youth involvement in community life. The panel discussion will be held at 2 p.m. at the Chicago O'Hare Marriott Hotel located at 8535 W. Higgins Road.
Yosef Sabir, a student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, will moderate the panel. Participating as panelists will be Orest Rudawski, a graduate student at the University of Michigan; Olena Drozd, an undergraduate student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a member of the Ukrainian American Youth Association (SUM); Yurij Bandertso, a graduate student at DePaul University in Chicago; and Yevhen Boyechko, a student at the Ukrainian Theological Academy and Seminary in Rudno, Ukraine.
All students and youths interested in participating are invited. Admission is free.
