Kharkiv delegation in U.S. to talk business
CINCINNATI - A trade delegation from the Kharkiv region of Ukraine is currently visiting three cities in Ohio - Columbus, Cleveland and Cincinnati. Through this delegation interested businesspeople can research the market and see whether its talent pool and cost advantages might help their businesses. Industries represented include agriculture, aviation, chemicals, energy, optics, clothing and accessories, food processing and information technology.
In each city, Kharkiv Region representatives will be ready to buy and sell products at a mini-trade show. They will be looking for reps to sell and distribute their products in the United States, as well as agreements to sell and distribute American products in Ukraine. They will also offer opportunities for U.S. companies to lower their costs, for example by outsourcing software development or garment production and by identifying lower-cost sources of products and components.
The second component of the trade shows is individual meetings between trade delegates and U.S. prospects.Americans with knowledge about Ukraine's business climate will be available.
The Kharkiv region trade delegation's schedule is: January 28, Columbus; January 30-31, Cleveland; and February 1-2, Cincinnati.
