PREVIEW OF EVENTS

- STAMFORD, Conn.: The 35th Ukrainian Day Festival sponsored by the Connecticut
State Ukrainian Day Committee, held at St. Basil's Seminary, Glenbrook
Road in Stamford, will take place on September 8 and not on September 15
as previously announced. The day will begin with an 11 a.m. liturgy celebrated
by Bishop Basil H. Losten. Immediately following the liturgy, picnic food
and refreshments will be served. At 2:30 p.m. a lively program, which will
include dance ensembles, vocalists and instrumental music, will begin.
A detailed listing will be provided in the future. In addition, over 15
vendors will sell a kaleidoscope of Ukrainian gifts and souvenirs.

- HILLSIDE, N.J.: Religious education classes for chidren in grades K-8
will begin shorty before the 9 a.m. liturgy at Immaculate Conception Ukrainian
Catholic Church, Liberty Avenue and Bloy Street. Classes will be held shortly
before the 9 a.m. liturgy on select Sundays determined in advance. For

REMINDER REGARDING REQUIREMENTS:
There is a $10 charge per submission for listings in Preview of Events.
The listing plus payment must be received no later than one week before
the desired date of publication. There is also the option of prepayment
for a series of listings.
Listings of no more than 100 words (written in Preview format) plus payment

a copy of a check, in the amount of $10 per listing, made out to The Ukrainian
