Revised and expanded edition of the "Historical Atlas
of East Central Europe" published by the University of Washington
Press as part of a 10-volume "History of East-Central Europe."
It was reprinted several times and this edition, following the enormous
political changes that occurred in the region, contains 22 new maps and
11 additional chapters.

pp, $50 (cloth).
Contains 10 essays, eight of which were previously published,
mostly in the 1980s. The other two essays include a general historical
survey of Galicia and a revised version of a framework for understanding
the Ukrainian national revival in the 19th century.
