30th annual Ukrainian Street Festival held in New York City

NEW YORK - The streets of New York City came alive with Ukrainian food, dance and song at the 30th annual Seventh Street Ukrainian Festival sponsored by the St. George Ukrainian Catholic Church on May 19-21. The featured dancers included Iskra Dance Ensemble of Whippany, N.J.; Barvinok of Bound Brook, N.J.; the Roma Pryma Bohachevsky School from Manhattan; the Barvinok Ukrainian Dance Ensemble of Astoria, N.Y.; and the renowned semi-professional ensemble Syzokryli under the artistic direction of Andrij Cybyk. Below are some of the young dancers at the festival.
