KERHONKSON, N.Y. – “Savvy Seniors” – that’s how we define seniors today! After all, it’s not your age it’s your attitude. Today’s 60-year-olds are yesterday’s 40-year-olds. They are not ready to retire from life, but want to start yet another chapter of life. To savor the good days ahead savvy seniors know the important factors that influence their health: maintaining a healthy diet, exercising both body and mind, staying in touch with friends and maintaining a sense of humor. At the Ukrainian National Association’s Savvy Seniors Conference, which this year takes place on Sunday, June 12, through Friday, June 17, at the Soyuzivka Heritage Center, seniors will eat well, exercise, marvel at the wonderful mountains, listen to interesting lectures on various topics, participate in sing-alongs, movie and game nights, gourmet wine pairings, etc. Seen here are photos are from the seniors’ conference in June 2015.
