A third-round tally of 65 and a four-stroke lead made him the man who would be followed by the gallery gods. Follow him they did, along with the rest of the field, as Matt Kuchar sat atop the leaderboard from start to finish at the Mayakoba Golf Classic in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, on November 8-11. He shot a 22-under with 262, breaking the tournament record by one stroke to earn the eighth PGA tour title of his career.

U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has said Ukraine has “no greater friend than the United States” in its struggle against “Russian aggression.”

Mr. Pompeo made the remark after meeting with the Ukrainian Foreign Affairs Minister Pavlo Klimkin in Washington on November 16.

KYIV – Five years on, Ukraine’s 2013-2014 Revolution of Dignity still symbolizes a definitive choice for democracy and integration with the European Union. It also was a rejection of ex-President Viktor Yanukovych’s kleptocratic and autocratic regime, according to findings from a comparative poll of political, economic and civil society experts over the last five years by the Kyiv-based Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives (DIF) think tank.

Kremlin-orchestrated, internationally unrecognized “elections” were held on November 11 in the Donetsk and Luhansk “people’s republics” (DPR and LPR), Russian-controlled territories in Ukraine’s east. The final returns, made public on November 14, serve to confirm and prolong the authority of the “head of the republic” (“glava respubliki,” would-be president) and the “people’s council” (would-be legislature) in each of the two territories.
