Beachgoers pause to honor Ukraine on its Independence Day

WILDWOOD CREST, N.J. – Crowds of beachgoers paused their vacation activities at 1 p.m. on August 24 to honor Ukraine’s independence. The commemoration, organized every year since 1992 by Michael Koziupa, concluded with everyone singing Ukraine’s national anthem.
